30+, 15h, grey, $35-SOS horse Fame came to DEFHR many years ago as a starvation case. Seh was adopted and lived at her new home for many years, but was recently returned due to unforeseen circumstances. She is in the SOS Program due to advanced arthritis in her right knee which has left her with limited flexion in that leg. She can, however, still be used for occasional light riding (walk, walk/trot on level ground) with an intermediate rider. Fame ties for feed, is good for grooming, does well for the vet and farrier, and is good with other horses. Advanced beginner to intermediate handler. Days End Farm Horse Rescue does not sell horses. We do ask for an adoption donation to help defray the costs of rehabilitating future horses. We adopt to the entire State of Maryland and 100 miles from Days End Farm into the states of VA, DE, PA. We do not have the funds or manpower to do this properly in other areas.
